BLS and CPR Training Course

Doctors Community Hospital in Prince George's County offers a comprehensive basic life support (BLS) training course for healthcare providers. This training course teaches CPR skills for helping victims of all ages; uses of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). It is intended for people who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. Potential students for this BLS and CPR training course include physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician assistants, residents, fellows, medical or nursing students, aides, medical or nursing assistants, police officers, and other allied health personnel.

  • The fee for the BLS and CPR training is $75 for non-Doctors Community Hospital employees. Only cash payments are accepted.
  • In-person preregistration is required. Call 301-552-8072 for more information.
  • First aid courses are not offered at Doctors Community Hospital.
