Free Breast and Cervical Cancer Screenings

Regular medical screenings are among the best ways to prevent some forms of cancer or detect them early - when they are most treatable.  Doctors Community Hospital offers free breast and cervical cancer screenings to women who:

  • Are a Maryland resident
  • Are age 40 or older
  • Are uninsured, underinsured or insured but not screened
  • Have limited income

Free Colon Cancer Screening

Colorectal cancer is often preventable and curable. However, it is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in Maryland. To help address this concern, Doctors Community Hospital provides free colonoscopies.

Community members may qualify for free colonoscopies if they meet specific program requirements:

  • Prince George’s County residents
  • Ages 50 or older
  • Ages 50 or younger with a family history of colorectal cancer
  • Uninsured or underinsured

On the Road Diabetes Program

Join Doctors Community Hospital and the Prince George's County Health Department at the On the Road Diabetes Program.  People who have diabetes will learn how to make lifestyle changes that can minimize the associated health risks.

Also, their families, friends and caregivers will learn more about the management of diabetes.

Free diabetes screenings will be offered to adults.
