Occupational Therapy helps people to function more effectively in their daily lives. Sometimes, illness or injury can make it difficult to perform such daily tasks as household chores, bathing, dressing or preparing meals. Our Occupational Therapy Team provides patients with new tools and techniques that allow them to work around limitations and remain independent.
Our Occupational Therapists focus on helping people do the things they want to do. In many cases, our Therapists will help adapt the patient's home or office to compensate for a disability. Grab bars, reacher aids and customized splints are examples of Occupational Therapy tools.
