  • Clinical Hematology
  • Coagulation
  • Microbiology
  • Transfusion Services
  • Anatomic & Surgical Pathology
  • Cytology

In addition to providing laboratory testing for our inpatients, our Outpatient Services Department is open from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 8:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday.  For your convenience, Outpatient Services is located at the rear of the hospital, immediately adjacent to both our patient and visitors parking areas.

If your doctor indicates that you may need blood during your surgery, ask about autologous donation. It is a simple procedure that can be arranged with the Red Cross by calling 1-800-GIVE LIFE (1-800-448-5433). If your doctor approves and this is done in a timely manner, the Red Cross will send the blood you donated for yourself to DCH in time for your procedure. Receiving your own blood is the safest form of transfusion.
