Free Diabetes Screenings and Education for
Prince George’s County Residents
Doctors Community Hospital’s Joslin Diabetes Center and the Prince George’s County Health Department have launched the On the Road Diabetes Program to raise awareness about the importance of diabetes screenings, management and prevention.
This program offers free diabetes education and screenings at convenient Prince George’s County locations, including community centers, faith-based organizations, health clinics and other localities. During the two-hour sessions, people who have diabetes will learn how to make lifestyle changes that can minimize the associated health risks. Also, their families, friends and caregivers are invited to learn more about the management of this disease.
