Wound Healing
The Center for Wound Healing
The Center for Wound Healing at Doctors Community Hospital offers a comprehensive program that includes state-of-the-art treatment for non-healing wounds, a multidisciplinary team of physicians specializing in wound care and the most up-to-date Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
Characteristics of chronic wounds include a loss of skin or underlying tissue which do not heal with conventional types of treatment. Often, these wounds won’t heal due to a variety of factors including:
- age

Wounds, due to their complex nature, require an individualized course of treatment to promote healing. Our staff is a specially trained team of physicians, nurses and therapists whose combined knowledge creates a multidisciplinary approach to wound management. We are dedicated to caring for people with wounds that have resisted traditional means of healing.
