Doctors Community Hospital is Growing!

Doctors Community Hospital is committed to adapting to the changing health care needs of our patients and their families while maintaining timeless core values of excellence, commitment and community. To continue to provide the highest level of care today, we are busily planning for the future by expanding needed services, acquiring the latest technology and launching a construction effort for a new Professional Office Building and additional parking. A regional cancer center will be located in the new building, including a linear accelerator and full range of oncology services.

The entire project is expected to be completed by the summer of 2008.  Throughout the phases of this very complicated and exciting project construction updates will be provided.

We are also planning to begin construction this summer on a six-story addition that will include 90 new private patient rooms and additional support space to expand the Emergency Center.  We will then be renovating all of our current medical/surgical inpatient rooms and converting to private rooms.  This project will take approximately two years and is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2009.
